Students from Zaragoza Dinámica visit us again

As in previous years, the Zaragoza Dinámica programme has organised a visit to FCC’s glass recycling plant in Cadrete, Zaragoza.

As part of the “Environmental Management” course, the students of the Río Gállego Training Centre had the chance to observe at close quarters the whole process of reception, treatment and conditioning of the glass packaging waste produced in the autonomous community of Aragon.

During the visit, they saw how the recycling chain works, phase by phase, from the moment the citizen deposits the container in the container until it becomes a new one.

Specifically, at the Zaragoza plant, glass packaging waste is separated, cleaned without using water and crushed into small fragments: the cullet. The glass is 100% recycled and in this process it goes from being a waste to a resource.
