FCC Ámbito participates in the 7th International Circular Economy Meeting.

FCC Ámbito is participating in the 7th International Circular Economy Meeting—a leading industry forum held in Gipuzkoa—which this year adopted the theme “New responses for a world calling for change.”

Carlos Mallén, Managing Director of FCC Ámbito’s photovoltaic panel recycling plant in Cadrete (Zaragoza), took part in the “Circular Economy and Raw Materials” panel. He shared insights based on his role overseeing Spain’s first industrial-scale photovoltaic panel treatment plant—a facility currently achieving recovery rates exceeding 95%.

The more than 40 experts participating in the event shared their knowledge on key topics such as strategic autonomy and resource efficiency, the impact of artificial intelligence on the circular economy, decarbonization and reindustrialization, recycling in the food industry, and sustainable mobility.
