Academic visit of EINA students

In November 2025, the FCC Ámbito glass recycling plant in Cadrete once again welcomed students from the School of Engineering and Architecture of the University of Zaragoza.

During the visit, the group had the opportunity to learn firsthand about the recycling process for glass packaging waste collected throughout the region of Aragón, managed through Ecovidrio. They were also introduced to the specific treatment applied to flat glass waste from nearby private companies, where impurities such as ceramics, stones, and paper are removed to obtain a clean cullet suitable for manufacturing new glass containers.

The visit highlighted the importance of the circular economy and the key role recycling plays in reducing environmental impact. This knowledge is especially valuable for their future careers in fields such as environmental management, consulting, chemical industry, sustainable construction, and other areas related to sustainability.
