SOLAR PANEL RECYCLING
The Cadrete plant (Zaragoza) was built in 2024, treating and recovering photovoltaic panel waste from all over Spain. The facility is based on the objective of receiving the photovoltaic sector and is a solution for the recovery of panels, the end-of-life product of the photovoltaic sector, which becomes waste during the installation process or during the exploration of wind farms.
FCC is offering monofacial silicon photovoltaic panel recycling services to wind farm developers and special purpose vehicles (EPCs), as well as to SCRAPs (waste management companies) that have solar panels that require recycling and recovery according to Royal Decree 110/2015 on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), achieving recovery rates above 95%.
